Keith's Detailed Bio

Keith is capitalizing on 30 years of business & technology experience as CEO of KDA Capabilities, a firm that does emerging technology capability building and thought leadership with business and academic leaders.


He taught at NUS’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy on AI, Privacy, Cybersecurity. He received the university award for teaching as Associate Professor, National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Computing and was Founding Director, NUS Ripple FinTech Lab and was Founding Co-Director, Crystal Centre a deep-tech research center. He created the NUS FinTech Society, NUS FinTech SG a recognized mid-career conversion program.

Prior to academia, he worked for 12 years at Estee Lauder where he led improvements in procurement, supply chain, competitive intelligence and delivered tangible performance improvements to COGS and ROIC.


Prior to that he was at Accenture (Andersen Consulting) Financial Services Advanced Systems Group working with clients including Goldman Sachs, Solomon Brothers and NYS Government.

He has a bachelors in Electrical Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Masters from Cornell University.


He also is a private pilot and certified in counter terrorism.

Experiences, Writings and Clients

Academic Experience: Professor for 10 years at NUS Business, Computing and  Lee Kuan Yew Public Policy. Established the NUS FinTech lab with the largest corporate donation in School of Computing history. Turned around Exec Edu. from loss making to more than $8mil annual revenue. Created undergraduate, masters and exec ed courses in data analytics, intelligent systems, algo-trading, supply chain, financial systems, and more. Established partnerships and in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Commercial Experience: At Estee Lauder for 13 years, Keith led supply chain innovation globally, driving cost avoidance as we grew from $1 billion to $3 billion in spend and increased Return on Invested Capital from 7% to more than 25%. Keith chaired the IT Systems Steering Committee, implemented Actionable Intelligence capabilities and delivered $87million in 9 months. Assisted in setting up the Sales and Operations Planning process globally. Standardized performance measurement.

•Keith worked at Accenture’s Financial Services sector on Solomon Brother’s fixed income desk and on Goldman Sach’s equity desk. He worked with NY State Government on the largest data migration and performance project in its time.

Author of Amazon Bestseller "Actionable Intelligence: A guide to delivering Business Results with Big Data, Fast!" Wiley, New York 2014. Reached top 100 books in Amazon and Top 3 books for Competitive Intelligence by Cipher Systems.
